A creator with 500k+ followers across platforms was managing brand deals in a spreadsheet — missing follow-ups, losing track of deliverables, and manually generating invoices. They needed a lightweight CRM that understood creator workflows, not enterprise sales.
The Challenge
Generic CRMs like HubSpot were overkill and didn't understand the concept of 'deliverable dates', 'content calendar', or 'brand approval rounds'. We needed to build something opinionated that fit the creator's mental model — not force them to adapt to ours.
What We Built
We designed a deal pipeline from scratch: Prospecting → Negotiating → Active → Delivered → Invoiced. Each deal card tracks the brand, fee, deliverables, deadlines, and approval status. Resend sends automated follow-up emails and deadline reminders. Stripe generates and tracks invoices.
The Outcome
The founder went from spreadsheet chaos to a structured system in one sprint. They started selling access to fellow creators, hitting 85+ paid users within 6 weeks. The product now generates more MRR than their own brand deals.
